Significance Of Small Communities

The small towns in America hold the source to expansion, cultural heritage and social change to serve the nation.A number of presidents developed the spirit of community, personal, and professional growth as they grew up in these small communities.Society can contribute no less than the high level of integrity taught by the culture of small town America, especially when we see cities become blighted, exploited, and despised.Yet society very often miss the importance of nurturing the basic human needs of whole community environment, such as standards of living, freedom of thought, and general community interest.

Obama,as well as many politicians frankly share the opinion that small communities are important because they know that the prime needs in America are reflected in the social welfare of the small town community. One can balance the emotional ties of the small community when they understand the traditions and intense pride of small community living instead of feeling such communities live in a little world of its own, hiding behind a wall of self interest, isolation, guns, and religion.Yes! there have been occasions when a community became indoctrinated in the propaganda of earlier period of village identity and separateness where members of small communities dealt with issues through primitive beliefs or traditional influences to solve conflict and maintain the loyalty of the whole community.

There is and have been many disrupting influences in our communities, often caused by standards of truth,hard-line positions without full understanding of the culture, race, religion, and social economic way of life.I believe we must go back to the basics of unity of the whole community to understand what has eroded the honesty and loss of vital social freedoms that helped our nation to become the leader in industry, charity, pride, and respect.

Today, the failure of America to advance with a greater interest on community will be judged by the men and women, elected to serve in our nation highest office, this person will exhibit the values taught within the communities they come from and have the ability to preserve the identity of a country and people,to stay abreast of social evolution while promoting change for the good of all.To what extent will this person be in the likes of Senator Obama or that individual who transmit a new social outlook and integrity that give Americans from small-communities and cities of our nation a sense of validity that our communities desire for today. In a time when more and more families worry about the rising cost of food, gas, college and daily living expenses, and believe Congress doesn't have a clue to act on legislation to solve the nation ills, perhap we can take a course from small town America where we have seen a collective effort to choose a leader based on those traits that bring communities together and effect hope for all.

Beautifully written and emphatically correct; Small town or single community values or morals is exactly the ideal for which our nations should strive. God, family, traditions, love, and taking care of each other is the founding principle for any successful group especially a nation.

The problem is that we don’t have a presidential candidate with the courage to stand up and give back political power. We don’t have a presidential candidate who cares more about their neighbor than their political party or themselves. It is not about Governing, it’s about ruling, for both parties and all three candidates. Our candidates are not giving their life for their country; they are giving their life for their legacy.

When we find someone, man, woman, black, white, brown or yellow, who will acknowledge God, and declare a difference between right and wrong, someone who will reclaim family traditions and community values as the example for national government, and then we have a chance.

We have no-one like that right now.
